I want to thank every member of Founder Region for all you do to improve the lives of women and girls. Some may say, “well I haven’t done much this year”, and others may be saying, “if you only knew how much I’ve been doing”, and some members are somewhere in between these two extremes. But the truth of the matter is that every member contributes by just continuing to be part of the organization. Sometimes our work and home circumstances don’t allow us to participate as much as we may have previously, and that is OK. We are “no-guilt” clubs – meaning we will not make you feel guilty when you cannot say, “yes” to every request. Being part of an organization expands our individual contributions to improve the lives of women and girls, and it generates that increased collective impact that we are always talking about and we multiply our efforts by working together as a team. Keep up the good work!
As our club year is winding down and new officers are being installed, club members are renewing their commitment to continuing the mission to improve the lives of women and girls. It is an exciting time of year as we look forward to Empowering Change in our clubs with renewed enthusiasm. We want to capitalize on this momentum and encourage all club members to renew their own membership and invite someone to join your club, too.
It was great to see so many of you attending our Leadership Training Sessions in Eureka and in Oakland. The Leadership Handbook is a valuable tool for all members, not just club officers and it is posted on our Founder Region website. Look for it under the Club Resources dropdown then the Leadership Training tab. The presentations are also posted there for those who may want to review or those who were unable to attend.
